A House Is A Place And A Home Is A Feeling

To me a house is a structure and a home is a feeling. A home is what you have been through in that house, whether you were born in it, moved out of it or got hurt in it. The most important thing about your house is who you spend time with while you are in it. One of my favorite things I do in my house is make tamales with my family during special events. We make them on Christmas at our house. My house is a place where I can always feel accepted and welcome. I've had my house for four years, but it still means a lot to me and I love it as much as my old house. My grandparents live in my old house so I can always visit them. Soon I will move to a new house and I won't be able to visit my current house when I move out this year, but I'll remember my house and what I have gone through while moving. Here are two of my favorite memories, when my family got our cats Hazel and Layla. We got Hazel first then Layla. My cats were my first pets I've had that weren't in a cage. My last favorite memory was when my brother had his quinceañera (a quinceañera is a Mexican tradition where the person turns 15 like a sweet 16). Most of his friends and family came over and we played Rock Band, one of our favorite games to play together! My brother is the first grandchild in this generation to have a quinceañera meaning he is the oldest grandchild too! That's a memory.
