Where you laugh and giggle, have fun together and talk about the craziest things that have happened in school to your relatives. Home is where you watch movies altogether. Tears shed as a sad scene comes on.. Terrified faces when an upcoming jumpscare creeps up on the screen. Faces of disbelief when a breakup scene happens !! Shouting “WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT?!! GO BACK!!” to the screen when a character does something dumb, as if they were real and we were talking to them on call. Home is where you play games for fun. Losing but you still have a smile on your face. Winning and sharing the prize with your friends that did not place. Home is where we celebrate big parties. MASSIVE cakes to devour. Meeting more and more aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents you didn’t know you had, as a filipino. Having to wait more than 2 hours to go home, when your parents say we’re going to go home but they continue talking at the door. As you wait with all the food in your arms. Seeing your cousins laying on your bed without permission. Home is where all your memories are, where all of them will stay.
