My home isn't just a floor, four walls and a roof with stuff inside. It's where I am safe, loved, cared for, and special. My house isn't' just a place I live in. It's part of my identity. When I am at home I play with my sister and snuggle up at story time with my mom and dad. Every Friday after we have a nice warm supper my mom cooked we decide on a movie and watch it together. I like it when we do that because it makes me feel all warm and cozy inside. The saying "home is where the heat is" is true because when I am not at home I can think of it and hold it in my heart. When I 'm at home I can feel all my feelings and that's ok. I can be happy, or sad, or angry, or silly because at home I can just be me. I'm home when I'm at home.
