Toronto

When I was a baby I didn’t eaven give Toronto one thought and when I did I thought I was the only ten month old in the world. When I was five I thought a prince charming would come and play dress-up with me forever. Now I am 12 and all I think about is climate change and school lock downs. When you think about Toronto you think of snow, smoke, city and crime but when you really think about it there is much much more. I lived in Toronto my whole life and it’s been quite a show. That show is filled with emotion and kindness. Toronto is my home for many reasons. I moved to Mallorca, Spain for a year because my family is very adventurous, but as we were living there my family kept saying “Oh I am so happy we get to live here for a year it is so much better than Toronto.” and me being me, defended Toronto and I treated it like it was my child. Toronto means so many things to me. It means walking to Starbucks or bubble tea in the coziest sweater because you have the time. It means watching the rain fall as you sit with hot cocoa in your hands. It means staying up all night listening to scandalous teenagers bragging about what time they should be home. It also means Stormy weather and playing card/board games inside in your pajamas. It means having to pull your dog home because they are barking at the skatboarders across the street. It means spending time with your family whether its just eating dinner talking about your day or fighting about what family movie you should watch (I always asked if we could watch the goofy comedies that we have already seen about 1 hundred times). My point is that my Toronto creates all mymemories and all the experiences that it has provided me. It is my home and it makes me who I am.
