The meaning of home By Elliot Rea

The meaning of home By Elliot Rea What is the meaning of home? Well, I think that home is a warm, safe, and usually happy place. A home can be located in anything from a shack to a 2 story house. A home has memories and traditions that are special to the family living in that house. A home is not a physical structure, yet more of a concept. Reason 1 To support the text saying “home is a warm, safe, and usually happy place’’, I will be describing what that might look, feel, and sound like. “It was a chilly night as Jack walked back to his grandfather’s shack. As he walked in through the front door and felt warmth flooding over him, he smelled the pancakes his grandfather was cooking on the stove. He felt safe, warm, and happy. So now that we have discussed that we should talk about reason 2. Reason 2 In this paragraph I will be talking about what memories and traditions a home may have. Many families celebrate holidays like Christmas, Halloween, Easter, diwali, and hanukkah to name a few. Another type of tradition is celebrating national holidays like national pancake day or national whale day. Traditions can also be always watching a movie on friday night. Ok now for the memories, when it's your birthday you might remember all the birthdays that you had in the house or home, or maybe all the Christmases you had, or even your house’s birthday. Conclusion I think a home can be in any structure like a boat, shack, mansion, 2 story house, burrow, tree, or even a tree house! A home can be anything, anywhere it just has to have memories, emotions, traditions, feelings, all in one place.
