My Home

One day there was a boy, he was raised by his mom, and he lived in a small house. Although it is small it was their special place, it was cozy and warm. They lived very happily, until a fire started, when they left the house. Then when they came to their house, they saw the fire and watched their house burn down. They were so sad, then the boy's mom said “Joey, we have nowhere to live, what should we do”. I do not know, but we need to live somewhere. Then they went everywhere they thought of, to their friend's houses, a hotel, even an apartment, but none of it felt like home to them. They did not have enough money to repair their house. Joey and his mom were worried. “We have nowhere to live,” cried Joey. Then they saw a renovation worker and a lot of money fell out of his pocket. Joey saw that and his mom told Joey to take the money, but Joey picked up the money and gave it to him. His mom was so upset, she walked away, and she was terribly angry. Then she realized it was not the right thing to steal, then went back and said sorry to Joey, he quickly accepted that apology and the worker saw that and said he will repair their house, Joey and his mom cheered. Then it took about a day to repair, while they waited for that one day, they slept in a hotel, even if it did not feel like home to them, they knew it would come soon. The next day they were so happy, and they lived happily ever after. The End By: Zakaria Hussain
