What Home Means to Me

As I walk through my front door I feel at peace My home is the place where I am free to be me The doors close and the floors shine I think to myself what how lucky I am to have this home of mine My family is like a warm hug Nobody is left out from the endless love In every wall and in every corner laughter we share We all show each other a lot of care Every room holds old and new memories Of places our family has had journeys The plans to come are what my family most looks forward to I wonder if all of our dreams will come true My room is my safe space A place where my imagination gets embraced My bed and my cozy blanket help me through tough days As I wake up, I feel happy and can feel the warm suns rays Habitat for Humanity helps those need They helps families and support them without greed We all need to create a safe community Where everyone can live in unity
