Home

A house and a home are two very different things. A house is a slab of bricks and a chimney, where a home is not the house itself. A home is the people you love and care for, and that makes it home. Home looks like my pets who love me almost as much as I love them. When I look at home, I see a safe place. Home tastes like my Mom’s delicious cookies on a cold winter's day. Home feels like a warm blanket wrapped around me cuddling with my family. Home smells like a beautiful morning on the farm. Home sounds like the worship songs I hear on Sunday morning. The songs I hear remind me of how thankful I should be for my home and family. Home is where my family and I celebrate Christmas and I feel more loved than ever on that one day of the year. So, home isn't a couple of brick walls, but home is where the heart is. No matter how many times you move houses, your feeling of home will never change.
