HOME

The word home is known to carry many meanings. A house, a safe place, a community of trusted people. All of these carry meaning to people, but for me, a home is nothing without love. When a house has no one there, it's just a house. When a family comes and lives in the house, they make long-lasting memories there, and create a special bond with the house. When someone lives there, they will never forget the memories they made there. A good example of this is the house in the movie Up. The construction workers offered a lot of money for his house, but to Carl, his house was priceless because it holds special memories of his wife. To Carl, this was worth far more than anyone could possibly offer. To anyone else, it would just be a house, a deplorable object that has no life. To Carl though, this house meant everything to him, because of the love that he and his wife shared. The love shared inside a house is the only thing that truly matters.
