Home is more than just a house or apartment with four walls and roof, and it’s not a place where we sleep and eat, it’s a place where family, cousins, and pets are. Home is where we feel safe. Home is a big part of me. For me home tastes like hot chocolate with a little bit sugar, spicy soup, chocolate ice cream with salty caramel and peanuts, a fresh delicious cake, my favourite pancakes with maple syrup, and my favourite fruits and vegetables. Home smells like mom cooking my favourite cookies with chocolate cream or like chocolate cake with peanuts, and vanilla cream. Home sounds like laughing with my brother, and sister. Home sounds like my dog barking at me. Home sounds like watching T.V. with family. Home is playing with my cousins. Home is my dog jumping on me when I’m busy. Home is playing hide and seek with my sister, and brother. Home is where I can speak my own language. Home is waking up on the weekend, drinking hot chocolate, looking at sunny weather. Home is where something feels like my dog’s soft fluffy paw. Home is where I can do whatever I want. Home is chilling on the soft couch. Home is a place where everyone respects each other. Home is where we learn to be who we are. Home is me and my brother laughing and making a lot of noise. Home is getting soft hugs from mom, sister, and dad. Home is where everyone loves each other. Home is where we find comfort, and peace. Home is where we celebrate special holidays for my family. Home is the chase of love that never ends.
