What Is Home?

People always wonder about what a home means since usually people say that “home” is not a regular house. They say that refugees have no house, but many still have an understanding of "home." So what is a home? Here is what I think what home means to me. "Home." The first thing that you may think of is a comfortable and free place to live. First difference, I think: what if you are comfortable at a camp? There, you may be eaten by a bear. To me, safety is more important than how cozy you are. For me, then, home must be someplace safe. But, for many, it is also more than that; home is a feeling, not a place. You can’t say that you're not feeling safe, but it is your home since you live in it. So the thing is you do not feel safe in my first example. I don’t feel safe and very relaxed in a tent, but if you do, you could claim it. But I don’t feel safe so I won't claim. I hope you learned what home in my opinion means. Thanks for putting yourself in my shoes!
