The Meaning of Home

The meaning of the word home is to me to be free from harm to feel safe and loved. It's a place to roam free and play with friends and family. It's a place to rest your head after a long day. To provide comfort and fun. Home just isn't a place to live, it's a place to express your feelings and feel how you want. It's a place to feel peace. But my version of home is not where I sleep .It's the place where I feel most at comfort and love. It is nice to stand in the field all alone and listen to the bird sing. Laying on the ground looking at the clouds. Hearing the leaves rustle in the wind. Walking back to the house, that's a feeling I don't want to lose . Running into my parents' open arms. They tuck me into my bed. I fell asleep excited for tomorrow. The word home means so much to me.I hope it will mean so much to someone else.
