The Definition of Home

Home: Noun, the place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household: A home is about family and friends A structure where time we will spend Home is the place to be Home is the people who spend time with me Home is sharing laughs over the dinner table There is always a meal for those willing and able Home is the feeling of my soft bed after a busy day Home is where all can stay Home is my brother Who treats me like no other Sure we have our ups and downs But, boy am I glad he’s around Home is my parents keeping the family warm My parents will keep me safe from a storm Home is the feeling of my grandmas’ love When I spend time with them, I am a cut above Home is my dog at play At my feet she will often lay I don’t need a building to have a home I have a home as long as I am not alone
