What is home?

Home is not a place with four main walls with rooms, It’s not just a place where we snooze and bloom, It’s more than a house which houses our lives, It houses people that keeps us alive. It is a place where memories are made, Stored in our hippocampus deep in our brains, We enjoy these times family we admire, And with our friends we deeply desire. Home is a place and it's filled with love, Our parents are giving us pushes and shoves, They keep us moving forward until we're ready to stop, We always do what we’re told nonstop. Home is where I find my identity, This is where i find people close to me, It shows me my cultures and religions, It gives me chances to show my traditions. So here’s to the home I keep near, It always fills me with love and cheer, May it keep its charm, And no one will be harmed.
