My Safe Place

Home is a place that I feel safe and comfortable consistently and can trust my family that lives at home with me. Home is a place that is built to withstand my family and friends. Home sounds like my mum and dad listening to music in kitchen. Home sounds like my dog barking at random animals taking a walk down my street. Home smells like dry wall because my dad is renovating our family’s house. Home smells like yummy food that my mum is preparing for dinner. Home feels like lying in bed wrapped in a cozy warm blanket. Home feels like a safe place to be when I feel sick or unwell. Home looks like plants everywhere and my TV in the living room. My parents are home, with out them home would not be the same.
