Meaning of Home to Me

Home isn’t something physical, rather a feeling of love, safety and family. It’s a feeling of comfort and belonging. It can be a hotel, or a tent, or anything you feel is home for you. Here is what home means to me; To me, home is a place with love, warmth and my kind and caring family. Home is a place with my cat to pet and relax with him. Home is a place where I can relax and celebrate holidays with my family, discover new foods, have fun overall and play board games with my friends and family. It’s not just a structure, home is where I can take a breath of fresh air and sit down on a chair in my lovely backyard. A home is not a complex thing, a home is whatever you want it to be. Home is as simple as possible. Home is a part of you, not just some place you live. You don’t just live in a home, you thrive in a home, and it’s where you feel like you belong. It’s where I can do whatever I want, because it’s my feeling of home, and it’s where I belong. Home can range from the deep seas to the highest of mountains. It doesn’t have to be a house. Home is a feeling. A great feeling. A feeling of love and belonging, care and family, and warmth. Home isn’t a house. Home is you, and you are home. Thanks to the people at Habitat for Humanity, we can save people from homelessness, and I’m glad I could help with doing so. We need to help them from being homeless, and give them a place to live and thrive, and a place where they can be themselves and a place to call home.
