What Home Means To Me

ome, home can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people, but I am here to talk about what home means to me. To me, home is not just about having four walls, or a light in your bedroom. While those things are important, home is a lot more than that to me. Home is where I feel safe and comforted, when I don’t feel that outside. In my home, I feel confident in who I am and confident in my ideas. I feel safe in my home because I can share my thoughts, my religion, and so much more around the people I love. Home is where I look forward to going after a long day, and trust when I get back, I have a warm bed and a warm meal waiting for me. I love this competition because no matter who wins, a lot of people are getting homes. It doesn’t matter if it is small, large, fancy, or not so nice. Home is not about the building, but about the people inside, and the feeling of home. I am so grateful for everything I have, and the home I have. A lot of people do not have that, and not many people take the time to look around and really be grateful for the blessings they have. So, I try to be the most grateful I can, for my home, for the people in my home, for the comfort, and the safe I feel in my home. Everyone should have a home.
