The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is a place where I am comfortable and safe in my home, a place where I feel the warmth by the fire, a roof over my head and food to enjoy at the table with my family and friends. A place where I can have fun with my sister while enjoying time with my sister or maybe playing in my house with my cat and dog, enjoying a show all cuddled up together in a nice fluffy warm blanket with my mom my dad and sister too. But one may think a home is to live in and stay warm, but it is not. It is a place to make memories and bake in the kitchen with your family, a place to have parties and have joy and laughter. We make each other laugh. Play games and have dinner together while knowing were safe and away from harm. Or maybe home is a place of love and appreciation for one another. Maybe home is a place to invite friends over have family or just to have fun. You don’t have to have a good looking home to make memories or do fun stuff, you just have to show love and appreciation to one another and be grateful for everything they do. Even though our house is not what you dream of at least you can make memories In it, bake in it, have fun In your home or maybe just try your best and great memories will come to you and your family. Home is a place to have sadness when you need it but to also have friends ,love your family and make memories In front of the fire. You can even make memories with your pets like the time you adopted them and cared for them. But to me home is a place with love, wonder and memories of the tides you shared with your family and that’s what home is to me my family.
