The Meaning of Home

Home is a place of peace, love, kindness, fun and all sorts of feelings. It is somewhere that people actually care about you, and love you for who you are. Home is a place where when you are tired, exhausted or even sad, you can just sit on your comfortable couch and you will feel a hundred times better. Trust me. If you don't know what I mean, this is what you should do: go for a long run outside. Come back home, sit on your couch and just say “ahhhh”. The second you take off your shoes or boots, you will feel better knowing you are safe and comfortable in your own home. Home is a place where you are safe and protected. If you didn’t have a roof over your head, what would happen if it rains, or if there is lightning or a tornado? You might die in extreme weather if you don’t have a safe place to live. With a roof over your head, you would be safe and sound. Home is a place where you can spend time with your family and friends. My family and I are fortunate to have a balcony, and a beautiful backyard where we get to enjoy all the seasons. We love listening to the birds singing in the backyard in the spring. We love to have our friends over to have barbecues in the summer. Just the smell of the delicious chicken and lamb sizzling on the grill is such an amazing sight and gives me a very loving feeling. Having meals together with friends and hearing the laughter of your guests is something everyone should get to experience. Home means so much to me, and I want everyone to have a loving home.
