There's No Place Like Home

There’s no place like home! Home is a safe environment where you live in. It is a safe place where the people I love live. It is a place where you spend time with the people you love like parents, siblings, grandparents, and etc! It is a place where you build memories with your family members. Home is where we can be weird and do crazy things without being humiliated. Home is my comfort and safe place. No matter where I go, home will always be the place I love the most. My home is a fun and loud place. I always hear my family talking and I hear lots of noise from the tv. I always see my family doing different types of things. I can see my mom cooking most of the time, I see my brother playing with his toys, and I see my dad working on his models. I love the food my parents make. I love my mom’s rice and chicken, I love my dad’s spaghetti and sauce, and I love the smell of my parent’s apple pie that they make together. I can hear my pet birds chirping. The voice of my Nonno and Nonna talking in Italian language which sometimes I don’t understand. For me, my family is my home and it is where my heart is! It is not just a house made out of stone or any other materials. It is where you feel loved, secure, happy, and special. Someday, when I grow up and wherever I may go, I would always go back to my home. I would always find the comfort and love it gives me. I would always go back to feel my family’s loving hugs and kisses. I would always go back to where I started to build dreams and created many memories. I would always go back to my family because they are my HOME! Thank you Habitat for Humanity for taking your time to build homes for the people who can’t get one.
