The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is a place where I have fun. It’s also a place where my family host gatherings and eat. It’s where the days come and go, it’s where I sleep and wake up. Home is a place where I help feed the dogs, puppies, and chickens. It’s where I can feel safe and calm. Home gave me lots of memories, and it still does. Home is a place where you have to let go of sometimes, but at the end of the days, weeks, or even years, you will always come back, even if it’s just for a little bit. Home is a place where friends and family come and go home, back to their own home. Sometimes you have to move out of your home, but you will always have memories, even if you move out, you will always have a home, and you will always get new memories. Thank you Habitat For Humanity for letting me write this story.
