Home is a Place

Home is a place you feel safe, happy, and cared for, no matter what. Home is a place you are with people you love. It is a place where you can cry, smile and laugh. Home is a place where you have a shoulder to cry on when you're down. When you're happy there's someone to share smiles with. When you are nervous there's someone there to reassure you. Home is a place where you can eat, sleep, and feel safe. When I walk into my house I know I will be greeted with love and kindness. Home is different for everybody; some homes are houses, some are apartments. Some people are not lucky enough to have homes. I have seen people who live on the streets and can’t pay for basic necessities, and it makes me feel very sad. I have tried to help by donating food, toys and other things they might need, but I always wish I could do more to help. It would be so amazing if I could help people live comfortably and safely by providing them with a home where they could feel safe, happy, and cared for, no matter what. That is why I am writing this, to help those people. Even if I don’t win I hope that one day I can truly change someone's life by making them feel safe and happy.
