What Home Means To Me

Home can be a place, family, people, or a feeling too. Home to everybody is different. To me home is where I grew up. Where we laughed, went swimming and had a blast. It’s in Mexico where I grew up. My friends would visit for a day or two. When it was too hot, we would stay in and play a game. When it wasn’t too hot, we would go outside to the beach for a swim. When we went back home, we would dry up and play more games, tell stories too. Sometime when it was not too late, we would watch a movie or show before bed. When it was time for bed my parents would say goodnight. At the time I had no siblings. I was happy at home though. To me home is a place where we grew up. Where my family is. Where we laughed had fun and made memories too. Thank you, Habitat for humanity, for building homes for those who need it and letting student write poems and stories.
