My meaning of home

I titled this essay “my” meaning of home cause it's different for everyone and can change over short periods of time. So let's get started shall we. The dictionary defines home as a permanent place where one lives. I know most start with this and say “I disagree!” “ I don't think so!” “ yeah right!” Well I'm not one of those people I almost completely agree with the dictionary except you can't say “this is our home for e week” you have to feel at home have to be at home. There has to be your favorite things, your comfiest blanket, your favorite stew cooking on the stove. It's having the people I love, and having my cute guinea pigs on my lap while watching a movie. Having a cake in the oven. My home is a sanctuary which I think is the true meaning of home, a sanctuary. where you sleep and eat and have the perfect painting hanging on your wall. This is the meaning of my home and it will vary from time to time but it's home and that won't change.
