What home means to me

Home is a very special place close to our heart. It's so much more than just four walls and a roof. It's a place where we live with our families, and pets. “Home is where the heart is!” Home is a place where we make memories with everyone we love and a place of comfort, where we are free to be ourselves, relax and leave our worries behind. My home is a place where no matter how big or small the problem is it can be fixed. Home means love and happiness, it's where you and your family can hang out, sit by the fire, watch some movies or play some games. It's the feeling of cuddling up in a blanket after a long day. Home is the place that provides food and a comfy bed to sleep in every night. It’s clean water and the smell of fresh baked cookies. I can actually smell them now! It's sad to know that not everyone gets to experience these kinds of things, I think we're very lucky to have this. Home is our familiar place where we feel comfortable, safe and secure. Surrounded by everything we know and love. It's our private place when we need alone time. I can enjoy my hobbies, play in my yard and have privacy. In conclusion I think we should sit for a minute and think about all the people that aren't that lucky and have no place to call home. A home is something everyone should have. I think home is more than just a place. It's a feeling, home is what you make it.
