MY HOME

Did you know that 235,000 people are homeless in Canada? Therefore, if you have a home you are very lucky. Three reasons for me to make a house a home are family, safety, and pets. The first reason that makes my house a home is my family. Family is most important to me because my parents work so hard for me to have what I have. If they didn’t work hard, I wouldn’t be able to play sports or have food to eat. When I feel down, my family is always there for me (except my brother). I also never feel lonely because they’ll be there for me. These are the reasons why my family is most important to me. Do you like to feel safe in your house? A second reason my house is a home is because of safety. I like to feel safe in my house because when I sleep I’m not having to worry and I can get a good sleep. When I get home after school I’m all alone and I’m not scared because I know I'm safe. When I’m sleeping at other peoples’ houses, I don’t feel as safe as at my house and I don’t get a good sleep so I’m not as energetic the next day. Not having safety could lead to a lot of bad things. That’s why I like to feel safe in my house. A final reason that makes a house a home is my pets. One of the most important things in my house to me is my pets, because like my family they are always there for me and make me laugh a lot. Also, they make me go outside and play with them for exercise. They are the best cuddlers ever. I always lay down and sleep with them.That is why they are so important to me. My family (except my brother),feeling safe and my pets are all reasons why my home is a place of comfort and why I love it so much.
