What Home Means to Me

Home is a safe place. A place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with friends. Home is coming back from a long day of school and sharing our day with our families. Home is visiting our grandparents and spending time with them. Home is a place where we share traditions. Home is where we establish a sense of who we are and where we fit in the world. Home is a place where we can feel happiness, warmth, love and security. Home is where your children grow, your relationships flourish and your life happens. Home is a place to cherish memories over the years you live in. Home is not a place, but a feeling. A feeling of belongingness. It's where you can laugh, shout or cry without any fear of judgment. It's when you feel at peace, and you just want to live that moment. Home can be within a person, someone with whom you share an honest and pure relationship. It's more than just four walls and a place to eat and sleep, but it's where relationships are developed and where some of our biggest life events happen.
