Meaning Of Home
Home is memories of the good stuff that we remember. It is the photographs of my family that fill my walls throughout my home. Pictures of me and my family traveling, going on outings, quality time in church. My favorite is the big picture that hangs on the wall near the stairs.
Home is family album or scrapbook of special times, like my parents wedding. It’s a travel book that my friend made for us thats full of pictures and words to represent our vacations, sport events and Rubik’s Cube competitions where my family cheers me on.
Home is family heirlooms, the special mementos passed on through the generations. Like the special cross that grandmother owned, she gave it to my mom and she held it tight the day I was born. I hold it tight when I go on Rubik’s competitions and it brings me good luck.
Home is the family members that come to visit, like when my grandma came to Canada for two-three years. I love when visitors come over and I try to entertain them.
Home is for the pets we have and love, like the fish I have in my tank.
Home is cooking with my family. We cook pizza. I love the smell, it’s my favorite food and it is so satisfying to cook and create a meal together. I love sitting and eating together, with no electronic to distract us. I love it when I talk to my parents about how things were when they were my age.
Home is hanging out in my parents bedroom. For me to make me feel even safer at night. I love to read and snuggle in my parents comfortable bed. Before I sleep, my mom hugs me.
