home.

A home is more of an idea than a real thing. It's a place where family and friends can stay and play. A home should be a place where you feel love and feel comfort and safety, no matter where it is. To understand more, first, we need to figure out the difference between a house and a home. A house, in its barest, is a building in which people can reside. It has a relatively simple definition because it isn't confusing to think about. On the other hand, a home has a much more complex definition because it is relative to every single person. It might be a place where you just eat and sleep, or maybe a place where you hang out with family and enjoy your time. The only thing that you need is love. Everything else is relative to the person. To me, home is a place where I can find love and guidence and feel safe. Everyday, I receive and give love to my family, and celebrate traditions like hanukkah and christmas with them. I eat, sleep and work, and I can also relax and play games, all because I have a home. When I come home from school, my sister and I sometimes play video games. We play card games and eat together and have fun together. All of this, because we have a home. I almost never consider how lucky I am to live in a stable family, something that is out of reach for so many people. Everyone should have access to a house. But to make it a home, they need more. Not much, just love. So let’s help give other people opportunities like these and help them make a house a home.
