What Home Means to ME

Home is a place where you can breathe, breathe your own air, you can be surrounded by family, but can also be alone. You can trust your family, that family lives in the home that you live in. And that home is your home. That home is the place where you can cry, yell, be scared and most especially you can be happy. And that happiness is what brings your home together, you can have a laugh with your family, you can have fun with your family, and you can be safe with your family. There's always that smell of fresh baked cookies in your home, your siblings are watching tv, laughing with you about the show, and you and I love that. Then after dinner you eat those cookies, and you smell and taste the love in the air. And that love is the most comforting feeling imaginable. To me home is also a place where you are allowed to make mistakes, and if you do make a mistake, your family will surround you and comfort you because they care about you, and you love them back. Your home is a place where you can be free, free from outside, free from the world and free from life. In your home you can let all of your worries fly away, you can stare up at the ceiling and you won't be embarrassed. In your home you have privacy, you can do anything in your home. So what does home mean to me? To me home means family, happiness, being free, being able to breathe your own air, being happy, being surrounded with your family, having a laugh with your siblings about a tv show, being able to trust your family that lives under the same roof that you live under and most especially being grateful that you have that cozy ,nice and happy home. Because some people don't even have homes, and you should be grateful for having a home, and a family that lives with you inside of that home. And that is what home means to me.
