A Perfect Home

If home were perfect, it would be the most beautiful and indescribable sunset you’ve ever seen. If it were perfect, it would sound like birds singing after a storm. Have you ever had ice cream? Because that is what it would taste like, and the smell of the a perfectly cooked steak on the grill. That would be home if it were perfect. But mine isn’t. It’s my sibling fighting over something that’s really not important. It’s smelling my dad’s cigars, and eating my moms definitely not perfect food. So, no, this poem is not about my PERFECT home, It’s about my messy, crazy and definitely NOT perfect home. But I would choose THIS home over a perfect one any day.
