My Caring Home

MY CARING HOME By Wylder (Grade 5) 3:20 PM the school bell rings, at last I get to go home to my safe and caring family. 3:36 PM I walk into the house to the sweet sound of my older sisters saying “Hello, Wylder,” to me and the clashing noise of me putting my lunch container and my water bottle in the dishwasher. That’s what home means to me. 5:46 PM I smell the aroma of my mom making homemade mac and cheese, hoping it’s almost done. That’s what home means to me. 6:38 PM I hear my mom say “Dinner!!!!” Then I rush downstairs to get my creamy gooey mac and cheese and sit down in my chair and talk about my day at school. That’s what home means to me. 8:00 PM I go into my hot and nice hot tub with my dad and have conversations and sometimes play games with him. That’s what home means to me. 8:45 PM I get out of the hot tub with my dad then get my pajamas on, brush my teeth, and go to sleep to the sound of white noise. That’s what home really means to me.
