Home is my haven A haven is a safe place. My home protects me From the outside world Away from the noisy cars And barking dogs It is where I can spend time With my family alone And that is a place that I call home My books on the shelf Give me a place to run to It’s an adventure itself One to jump into In my room With all my books I find comfort With the things I love Down the stairs And out the door Are beautiful flowers That will grow forevermore They rise towards the sun They bring me joy when I return home Love is found at home At least for me Through the park and behind the trees A place that I call home
