WELCOME By Grace Welcome! My name is Grace. My home is where my mom, dad, sister, myself and dogs that I dog sit, when their owners are on vacation, live. My home isn’t perfect and neither are the people who live in it but that’s what makes life interesting. In my home, you can see my sister putting on her favorite hot pink lipstick, my dad attempting to make garlic bread, my mom doing the dishes, and you would find me organizing something. Home is where you can hear lots of different sounds coming from my sister singing in the shower or my dad playing with his way-too-many power tools. My home is where I feel my fireplace warming me up on a cold winter's day after being outside playing in the snow with my family and friends. Home is where I taste my mom’s delicious brownies with marshmallows and icing that leaves a sweet and savory taste in my mouth. In my home, you can find my sister and I playing intense games of Go Fish or Hide-and-Go Seek around the home. My home is not just a place that people live, my home is a welcoming and heart loving haven.
