A Cat Finds Home

Once upon a time, a girl, her dad, and a small, gray tabby cat inhabited a small cottage. The dad dearly loved the little cat. Unfortunately, the cat was determined to have freedom. One day, the cat dashed away. The dad searched all day long, but he could not find the cat. Soon it became foggy and dark, and the cat was shivering. It was lonely and it missed the dad and the girl. It walked around for a long while until it sensed home. It was almost there! As the cat crept toward home, it spotted a faint shadow of the dad. The dad darted where the cat was and lifted it up with a big smile. The cat was happily rejoicing to be back in the dad’s warm arms. Sometimes, we can be like the cat. When the cat was lonely and wanted its owner, it realized the meaning of home. The meaning of home is when a family is together. They are warm and safe. The family will help someone in trouble. When they fight, they are willing to reconcile and forgive. And most of all, they care for each other with unconditional love. Back in the house, the gray cat ate a crunchy and delectable biscuit and took a warm bath. This time, it felt much better at home.
