Have you ever really thought about what home means to you?

Have you ever really thought about what home means to you?? Home is actually anywhere as long as it’s with the people you love! For me, home is anywhere with my family, the people I love, and care about. Home is where I can be myself. Home is where the heart is. India is like my second home because I'm with my grandparents and family. In India, I do things that make me happy like shopping, riding elephants and spending time with family. I feel at home when I'm in India. I also feel at home when I'm in Canada. I grew up here, and I'm happy in Canada. All of my friends, and a lot of my family live here. They're really important to me. I feel at home when I'm with them. I feel safe and secure in my house because I know that my family is right beside me. My parents love me, take care of me, and are always pestering me to do homework but I know they’re looking out for my best interests. My little sister is also very loving, and I’m grateful to have an amazing sister like her. I'm very grateful to have an amazing family. It doesn't matter where I am, as long as I'm with my family, I'm happy. The other day, I heard my parents talking about selling our home, but I know no matter where I live, I’ll still be home. A couple years ago, I had a lot of anxiety. It was tough, but my family helped me get through it. I knew it was the right place to share my emotions. After I did, it made me feel better. Now I have no problems with anxiety at all! Being “at home” for me means being with my family, and the place I feel safe and comfortable. Home is where I'm growing up. I love my home. I wouldn't change a thing.
