What Does Home Mean to Me?

What Does Home Mean to Me? By Maria Balseira Every day after school I come back from school, I open the door and my dog jumps on me. That was all the time until one year ago, my dog died. After that, nobody jumps on me when I come from school. My home feels different now. Sometimes home feels sad ... but mostly home is happy and joyful. Home means a cozy place where your family is, and your worries go away. It is a place where you play, sleep, watch movies, relax and be happy!!! For me it is the best place to be. I am grateful for having a roof over my head, enough healthy food, a bunk bed to sleep in, clothes to wear and more. Home is not about how much you have; it is about being happy with what you have. It is about love and a place to live. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping people.
