What a Home Feels Like to Me

Home feels like a place where I make memories. Home is a place where I spend time with my loved ones. It is a place where I can have fun. It is a place where you can share your feelings with your family because you can trust them. It is a place where you can just be yourself. A home is a place where you feel free and calm. A home is a place where you are safe. It is a place where everything is all right, nothing can happen to you because you have your family members around you. A home is a place where you feel free because your family keeps you safe and so does your home. Your home keeps you safe because it keeps a roof over your head when there is a storm, the walls keep you safe and keep you warm from the cold and the wind outside. You think that you are going to get struck by lightning. No, your home will keep you safe because the roof will protect you from lightning or when it is raining. You are so lucky to have a home, some people do not have a home, they are homeless, they have nothing to protect them. Next time you feel ungrateful and say why do we have to live in this house, remember some people do not have a home to live in so a home is a place where you are safe. It might feel different when you move. The place where you are moving might not feel like a home, but once you get used to it will feel like home. My home is a safe place when you are alone. Home is a good place to be.
