Home

To me home is not just a roof over my head it’s a place with family and friends, where I can feel safe. To me home is a place where I can cuddle up on my couch and watch the rain fall. A place that makes me feel calm and comfortable. Everyday I smile when I see my parents making food for me and my family. I laugh as I play my favourite board games with my brother. As I walk down the hallway I see all the pictures on the wall remembering all the memories I’ve made with the people I love. When I feel sad I know that I can come home to my family. I thank habitat for humanity for building homes for the people without one of their own, so they can make lot’s of new memories with the people they love. So I know that they can come home to a place were they feel safe and comfortable everyday.
