My Home Is My Pride

Home makes me feel safe, It's where I feel warm, even when it’s cold outside; Where I feel good. My home is my pride. My home is my base, my favorite place. It’s where I can come back to my own personal space. Home is where I feel free, but most importantly, It has my people, my family. I come home from a long day of school, Seeing my mom and dad waiting for me, My family waiting to spend quality time with me. My home is the foundation of who I am, and I feel safe there, I know that if anything happens, Good or bad, My family can help me, My mom and dad. I’m ready to mingle and have fun with the people I love, watch a series, or a movie, It’s always fun. I can do whatever I want, Without being told to stop. My home is where I'm comfortable, Where I can wear pajamas and flip flops. When I walk down the stairs, I see pictures of me when I was three, I see my family at the beach, I see memories. Everyone has a different view, but I love my house and my family too. And of all the places in the world, My home is my favorite. As I sit down on my couch, I see my family, and I know without doubt, That they are my home, and that makes me proud.
