Home To Me
Home could be big or small,
A place where someone can pick you up when you fall.
You don’t have to have a cat or dog,
Or have a house made of log.
Home is where you have a heart,
A place where everyone contributes and has a part.
Home is a cozy place,
It does not have to have much space.
Home is where you go to rest,
And bundle up in your comfortable nest.
Home is where you go after a long, hard day,
A place to sleep after you pray.
Home is where the love is tender,
A place for all your worries to surrender.
Home could be quiet or loud,
A place where all are loving and proud.
Home is a place to grow,
Be it fast or be it slow.
Home is a place to learn who you are,
A place to aim for the moon or a star.
Home is not just bricks and wood,
A place where you can think “Maybe, I could”.
Home doesn’t matter where it happens to be
Home is where you are with your family.
Home is a place for family and friend,
And now I see that this is the end.
