What Home Means to Me

Home is not just a building, it is like a part of my family. It plays a big part in my life. Home gives me shelter. It prevents diseases from getting in my home and getting my family sick. Home helps with the bad weather outside so we don't get sick and sleep well. Home gives me food. Food gives me energy so I can move and do everyday activities like going to school and also helps with the immune system . It also reduces the risk of getting cancer, starvation/hunger and high blood pressure. Overall, we all need food. Home gives me water. Water keeps me hydrated so I can be in good health. Home can also make other kinds of drinks like smoothies and juice. Home gives me sleep. Sleep is my bed and being comfortable chilling, playing with my friends or calling my friends and just getting a good night of sleep. Home gives me a safe place. Home is a safe place so I don't have to worry about getting robbed or getting hurt. Home gives me protection so I can live in harmony. Home gives me entertainment. Entertainment is one of my favourite things. I can be entertained so I don't get bored so easily. I can watch Youtube, Netflix, Disney +, Amazon plus. I have watched so many movies over my life. Gaming is also one of my favourite things to do in my house. I like playing Call Of Duty and Fortnite with my friends. I just like spending time with my Friends playing our favourite games together and I like how competitive it is between me and my friends. Home is watching my mom cooking, watching TV with my mom and sister. My mom cooked deep fried fish, chicken soup and most traditional foods. Home is giving my mom and sister a hug when they come back from work, feeling my comfy gaming chair when I come back from school on friday, smelling food when I come home. Smelling my moms food when I come home from school makes me so hungry and happy, hearing my mom calling me to help around the house. Home gives me the most important thing of all TRADITIONS!! Traditions have a big part in my life. Traditions have been passed down from generation to generation A home is something that everyone and everything needs.
