There is No Place Like Home

Home isn't just a place I can go to get sleep and eat. No. Home is where I can go and wear whatever I want and no one is there to know. Home is where I don't have to worry about things that happened during the day, or what happened when I played outside. Home is where my annoying siblings stay but also where they have to lay in the night. Home is where I eat the best food every evening. My favourite meal is poutine. There are also awesome snacks in the cupboard like cheetos, doritos, oreos, and gushers. . At home I see the leather couch with soft cushions waiting for me to sit on it. The feeling of touching my soft bed every single night is the best feeling ever to me. When I get home every day after school I smell a freshly cooked meal and I know it's ready to be eaten. Every night I hear the tv playing a show upstairs when I'm staring up at my ceiling with my pillow under my head. Home is where I watch Christmas movies in the winter with a cup of hot chocolate in my hand and cookies in my mouth. Halloween movies in the fall with candy and popcorn. Home is where I will always make the best memories that I will always remember and celebrate. Holidays and birthdays every year with lots of presents to open. Home is a safe place where I learn from all of my mistakes. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving me this opportunity and thank you for building a home for people without one .
