Home Makes me Feel Safe

Home is not just a place where you can eat and sleep, its a place where you get to spend time with your family, siblings and friends. Home is where I feel the most safe and I feel like I can get away from some problems. Home has its ups and downs, but it's good that it does. It's also where you can get shelter and food for free, and where you can be yourself without anyone judging you for it. Home is a place where I get my own time and space when I need it or just in general. To me home feels like Christmas because that's where I can eat dinner and stuff with my family, not everything goes as planed but than sometimes my mom or other family members shake it off and laugh about what went wrong. Home is a place where we don't have to worry about anything really. Home is where I get to eat my mom´s homemade meals, like her omelette grilled cheese that tastes really good. Her home made pasta tastes pretty good too, same with her homemade mac and cheese. The mac and cheese and the grilled cheese omelet are 100% one of my favourites. Home is where I get too see my mom, I really like spending time with my mom. It can be really fun! I don't get to hang out with my mom to often because my brothers need my mom´s attention more than I do because they are younger. But, I´m also independent so I don't come out of my room too often, which is another reason why me and her dont spend to much time together. Home is where I can talk about my dreams and feel confident about it. My mom is someone I can talk to about what I want to do in the future. She never puts me down about it and that makes me feel a lot more comfortable to talk to her about stuff. Home is where I can wear whatever I want and no one will judge me for it. At home I can be whatever and whoever I want to be and my mom and my siblings don't judge me about it. If I acted like how I act at home at school I would most likely get judged for it. Home is where I feel like I belong! My mom is the person that makes me feel like I belong the most, she's always trying her best to spend time with me and make time for me and I really appreciate that. I love my home, it's the best.
