What Home is to Me

What home means to me is feeling safe to open up about something that I would not feel comfortable telling anyone else. What home means to me is being able to have a place where people don’t judge me and love me no matter what happens. What home means to me is jumping on my trampoline with my very best friend and having no cares in the world like all my problems and responsibilities are taking a pause. What home means to me is every once in a while snuggling under the covers with my parents in their room for the whole night even though they said only a couple more minutes! What home means to me is chasing my cat around the house because she keeps scratching the furniture and eventually losing because I can't run as fast as her. What home means to me is sitting outside in the fresh crisp air of summer time watching a flock of geese fly past my house as my cat tries to eat a butterfly. What home means to me is sitting on the couch devouring literally ANYTHING that's in my pantry and watching as many movies as possible. My hope is that as much money as possible is raised for building homes for people in need to make the world a happier place.
