Home is Everywhere

Home is a place where you see things around you that make you smile, laugh, or feel comfortable. Home means hearing my dogs bark at the television like crazy crows, while watching my cat, Daisy, run around the house as fast as a cheetah. Home means climbing into my cozy bed and warm blanket at night, with my fairy lights softly twinkling me to sleep. Home means snuggling with my cat, Charlie, with his fluffy tail swishing with joy. Home does not have to be at my house, it can be anywhere. Home means going to school and seeing the familiar walls and faces, and bright and encouraging smiles around me. Home is not always what I live in, it's what's around me. Home means always feeling the cold breeze on my face, and seeing the dancing snowflakes in winter. Also, smelling the sweet scent crisp summer air, and seeing some unfamiliar or scary bugs in summer. Home has to have feelings, a place where you understand each other and yourself. Home means being caring and open-minded to our family and friends, and it is a place where you have the right to express yourself and where others can do the same. Home is also a place where you can share ideas and thoughts, disagreements and what not. Home means brainstorming together, or as one. Home means thoughts of rights and curiosity, where we all feel free to ask. Home means having experiences that we want to remember, and enjoying them with love and care. I think that it is great Habitat for Humanity is giving others in need a place they can make memorable memories.
