Home Is Where Memories Are Made

Our home holds a special place in our hearts, but everyone's reasons are different and unique to them. Your home is the safest place you can go, to always feel warm and accepted as you are. If I have had a hard day, going home and giving my family a hug can turn my frown upside down. Home is important to me because it gives me memories of when my little brother was first born, how I felt like I belonged, and knowing our family was complete. Home is where the love is, where anyone you talk to will understand you. If I did not have a home filled with family, I would not be able to feel that special love. Any nice house can have a comfy couch to sit on or a soft bed to rest on but enjoying that space with your family members is what truly makes it feel like home. Running and laughing, home is where you can have fun and show your wild side. On special holidays, you can prepare a grand feast in the kitchen with your family and learn about your family’s old traditions, culture and unique food. Home is where you grow, and where you learn. Knowing that not everyone in the world is blessed with a place they can call home, we should be extra grateful and thankful that we have a safe space to call our own.
