Jack’s Home Talk

When I think of home, I think of warm thoughts and comfort with my family on a Friday night. This reminds me of home because one Friday night, when I was sick, my family wanted to comfort me by playing games. The board game was Monopoly. They gave me a warm cup of soup. This soup is called pickle soup. Pickle soup contains warm broth, pickles, potatoes, celery, and peppercorn. This soup is comforting to me because me and my mom make it and that is how it has an amazing taste and it helps me get through rough times. This night was a cold December 15th, 2019 in my old house. This night was one of the best nights I have ever had because I made new memories and a new perspective on life. In my new house I hope to make similar memories just like my old house. Something special about my new house is the fact that I live with my grandmother and she puts a smile on my face every day. It's very important to be near my family because they help me with my dark times, when I'm sad and not feeling well.
