What Home Means to Me

Home is not just a building held up with a foundation and concrete bricks, wood, and other materials. It’s a place that is held up with love and support and where you feel belonged, loved, and cared about. Home feels like a place where you belong, you know you have nothing to be doubting about. You have loved ones that will help you up when you are down. Home looks like a place where everyone takes care of each other loves each other, and respects each other. We play games and laugh together. We support each other in our times when we feel down. Home smells like my mom cooking all kinds of scrumptious and delicious foods. Sometimes my dad brings me food from his restaurant. I am grateful for all these things I can eat. Home sounds like a place where if we argue, we will still love each other. A little argument is nothing. We are peaceful with each other and don’t care about hatred. My home is such a welcoming place. Home is not just a place, it’s a blessing. I’m very fortunate to have people who I look forward to seeing every single day. Words that describe home are warm, inviting, calm, peaceful, loving, affectionate, and comfortable.
