What Home Means to Me

Home isn't a place or location, it is a state of mind. Home isn’t a spot or locality that you have to find. It is a State of mind that you feel where you feel a bind. You could have that state of mind with family, friends, even people you just met! It is a feeling, a thought, an asset. You might feel that feeling with a father, mother, sister or brother. It doesn't have to be family, it could be a friend, teacher or some other strange creature. Home is a place that will stay in your heart, soul and spirit. It is that uplifting feeling in your stomach, where that feeling could never plummet. Plummet into that shadowed abyss of darkness and gloom, Home is way more than just a few rooms. A shield of warmth shelters me from the cold, an atmosphere of love protects me from hatred, that precious bond of sacredness. The bond of sun to moon, light to dark, sour to sweet, ocean water to tree bark. You share the most precious bonds with loved ones. I share a bond with my grandma who makes the sticky and soft cinnamon buns. I share a bond with my aunt, who is very sweet. We have a special bond with everyone, even the baby cousins we just meet. Through summer, winter, autumn and spring, family is the most important thing. Home is a priceless feeling, of love, peace and a sense of meaning. Home is where you eat, laugh, and take a warm bath. It is where you love, rest, and show your affection to the very best! Overall, home is more than a place with empty halls. Home is way more than just four walls.
